The Power of Lunar Yoga: April Full Moon at Athleta Flatiron with Selena Brown

Come celebrate the three full lunar cycles of spring and take time to manifest abundance in your life with yoga and meditation. Join us and set your intentions with each new moon, and celebrate the abundance you’ve manifested with each full moon this season, before moving consciously into the next lunar cycle. Each session begins with pranayama breathing exercises before a full yoga flow, and concludes with seated meditation to concentrate the creative energy we’ve cultivated.

 

Come celebrate Earth Day as our series continues by commemorating April’s full moon with an afternoon session on Saturday, April 20th. Yoga with Yasmine

This week’s class will be a super fun workout that includes: Pilates, twerking and yoga.

Please bring your own mat but if you don’t have one, you can rent one from me for $5.00 for the duration of class.

We will workout barefoot on wood floors, so no socks or shoes unless they’re made for dance/yoga.

I would recommend wearing clothing that you can comfortably move in. You may sweat so bring a small towel to pat dry if you’d like.

Hatha Vinyasa - Open Level Vinyasa with Selena Brown

Students of all level of physical fitness and yoga experience are welcome in this class. Everyone will be guided and supported. Beginners will work on developing body awareness, familiarity with yoga postures, pranayama (breath control) and meditation techniques. Intermediate and advanced students will be encouraged to deepen all aspects of their yoga practices. Using the breath as focal point, students will be guided through series of postures progressing from warm up and easier moves to more complex. You will build strength and stamina and leave a class feeling calm and invigorated.
