Mini Ode To Fall

Oh Fall. Look at you, lookin' how you lookin'.

There's something magical about this time of year. Fall is my favorite season and it’s not just because I’m a fall baby. The changing of the leaves from bright green to earthy yellows and reds. Warm enough to keep the heavy coats away but cool enough to bundle up in my favorite hoodie or sweater. The pale grey skies and misty nights make me want to curl up and bury my nose in a good book or have a Harry Potter movie marathon for the 400th time. I’ve also stocked up on my pumpkin spice, apple and cinnamon candles.

Autumn is all about transitioning. This season, I plan on putting a lot of projects into motion. With my content Instagram up and ready, a lot of my visual, spoken and written content will make a home there! I aim to attend more events that bring me closer to a creative and inspiring community. I’ve slowly outgrown my shy shell and I’ve been able to create and share amazing moments with women of color who are full of life, knowledge and ideas. And let me tell you something, that’s a feeling like no other.

Summer prepared me for all that fall has in store!

A mantra I keep telling myself: “I am deserving and ready for all that life has to offer me.”

And I’ll take it on with a Pumpkin Spice Latte in hand!

What’s your favorite thing about fall? Do you feel changes happening in your life this season?

Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.
