A to Zen: A Self Care Balancing Act

As a Libra, my life is all about balance. #Sclaes.

But Zodiacs aside, everyone needs to find a harmony between things that go on in their lives. We always hear about "positive vibes only." Which is lovely, but experiencing the negative vibes is necessary to keep you afloat as you go through this crazy ride called life.

A- Accept that good and bad things will happen to you at every stage of life.

B- Believe in yourself and work towards your goals.

C- Create a space where you can flourish and grow.

D- Drink water.

E- Enjoy the now.

F- Find your tribe.

G- Genuinely give yourself to others. Give your time, effort, presence and patience because YOU want to.

H- Have an open mind.

I- Ignore those who doubt you.

J- Jump for joy for when you accomplish something.

K- Kick the habit that's been holding you back.

L- Love yourself first. Always.

M- Memories and moments are worth more than material things.

N- Notice the bad in a situation and use it as fuel to keep moving forward.

O- Organize yourself.

P- Procrastinating won't get you anywhere.

Q- Quitters never win and winners never quit.

R- Respect yourself and those around you.

S- Stop treating selfish as though it's a bad word. It's okay to be selfish with yourself and your time.

T- Take responsibility for your actions.

U- Understand that not everything happens when you want it. Things take time.

V- Visualize what you want. Then go get it.

X- Xenial relationships can lead to forming and hearing new ideas. (HA! Ya'll thought I was gunna take the easy way out and use something like "Xellent.")

Y- You are human. You will make mistakes. Learn from them and keep going.

Z- Zero in on what you want to accomplish. But don't forget to take a break and catch some Z's. Sleep is good for ya!
